I met a kid named Alan who lived in Colorado through Kiro [a mutual friend], and we immeditaly hit it off [as friends]...we got to know each other and the friendship turned into a "relationship" [at least kind of] I then found out that he was coming to nashville to visit us and was excited but also worried about the fact that things could be different in person. that is the inspiration for this poem...
